Amanda Page Presented 2004 Full Duty Award 

Living Historian Amanda Page was presented the  Vermont Civil War Council's 2004 Full Duty Award at the Full Duty Banquet held April 17, 2004 in Montpelier, VT.  The award is presented annually to a person or organization for outstanding contributions to the preservation of our Civil War Heritage. 

All of the proceeds from the banquet and the accompanying raffle are donated to  the Civil War Preservation Trust to be used for battle field preservation. This years proceeds were $3,982.00.

Jim Lighthizer from the Civil War Preservation Trust was on hand to accept the donation and to address the audience.

Keynote speaker Kevin Graffagnino from the Vermont Historical Society gave a very informative talk on Bennett Young and the Saint Albans Raid from a Confederate perspective.

The VTCWC has raised over $33,000.00 for preservation in the past eight years. The council would like to thank  everyone who attended for making this years banquet such a success !
