Civil War Expo For twelve years the Civil War Expo organized and hosted by the Eighteenth Vermont Regiment, Inc. was the group’s annual fund raising event. Each year large crowds of Reenactors, Living Historians, Exhibitors, and spectators joined us for a day of education and fun. Over the course of its lifetime, many thousands of dollars were raised for projects such as the restoration of Vermont’s Civil War Battle flags, donations to the CWPT for land acquisition at battlefields where Vermonters fought, and the erection of monument dedicated to Vermont troops who fought at Newport News, Va.
